Pashinyan's Plane Flew Over Azerbaijan, Spokesperson Says

Prime Minister Pashinyan's spokesperson, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, wrote on her Facebook page:

"In response to media inquiries, I would like to inform you that the RA Prime Minister's plane departed for a foreign visit on August 30th through the airspace of Azerbaijan and returned to Armenia on the night of September 6th.

After the establishment of peace in Washington on August 8th, the relevant Armenian authorities requested an air corridor from Azerbaijan for the RA Prime Minister's plane and received a positive response. We consider this fact as a practical step towards the unblocking of communications in the region, the promotion of the peace agenda, and the formation of an atmosphere of mutual trust.

I would like to remind you that Azerbaijani planes have been providing communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic through the airspace of the RA for a long time," Baghdasaryan wrote.
